Virginia E. MalletteVirginia E. Mallette (Ginger) is the Senior Paralegal and Office Administrator of R.B. Bormaster & Associates, P.C. She brings with her 39 years of legal experience and has worked as a Paralegal for firms in both Texas and Louisiana. Most recently, she was a senior Paralegal for the late John O’Quinn at O’Quinn, Laminack & Pirtle. She has worked with Farrar & Ball and D. Miller & Associates in Houston, Texas and worked in Louisiana for Marcel, Fanguy & Tauzin; The Allen Law Firm; Leonard & Leonard and Glenn Armentor. Ms. Mallette ‘s legal career includes such prestigious positions as Legislative Aid to Wilbert J. (Billy) Tauzin, II (Former U.S. Congressman) and jobs with former Louisiana District Judges Walter I. Lanier, Jr. and Sidney Ordoyne. She attended Nicholls State University where she studied Civil and Criminal law and was the Office Administrator under the Board of Directors of the Indigent Defender’s Office in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana. While in Louisiana she became a commissioned deputy with weaponry training on a .357 magnum; an accomplished green belt under the direction of Master Lee at the Tae Kwon Do Academy and is certified in Self Defense. She was honored by Thibodaux Jaycees as Outstanding Young Women of Thibodaux, Louisiana; honored by the Louisiana Federation of Business & Professional Women’s Clubs for her years of service in the Acadienne Business and Professional Women’s Association; and served on the Inter-organizational Council of the City of Thibodaux until moving back to Lafayette, Louisiana to rear her three daughters. She is a proud mother and grandmother and is now an integral part of R.B. Bormaster & Associates where her considerable skills and experiences are a benefit to the Attorneys, Staff and clients.
