Wesley (Wes) A. Bias is the Intake and Litigation Paralegal at R.B. Bormaster & Associates, P.C.
With nearly 7 years of legal experience behind him, Wes has served as a litigation paralegal managing case dockets spanning from motor and commercial vehicle accidents, to product and premises liability, to wrongful death cases. He’s assisted with mass tort litigation against pharmaceutical drug companies, and handled homeowner’s insurance claims resulting from Hurricane Ike and Hurricane Dolly. Wes has also taken contract work in criminal defense and personal injury.
Wes has worked pre-litigation and trial with some of the largest, most aggressive firms in Houston. His no-nonsense, matter-of-fact approach make him a powerful asset to our firm. Driven by a passion for justice, he builds lasting relationships with clients.
After studying business and geology at Blinn College, Wes earned his paralegal certificate from the Center for Advanced Legal Studies. He worked his way up from legal assistant at two firms to become a Litigation Paralegal for The Webster Law Firm, where he traveled the country prepping for numerous trials. Wes became the Intake & Litigation Paralegal for Tracey & Fox before transferring to Bormaster Law.
Wes is a member of the Houston Paralegal Association.
Born to a Navy father and an English mother in Pensacola, Florida, Wes spent his childhood in London, moved to Houston when he was 9, and has since called it home. At Bellaire High School, Wes was in the Ensemble Choir and performed in theatre. Today, Wes plays the clarinet, trumpet, and is learning guitar. With a 2nd degree black belt in Aikido, Judo, and Tae Kwon Do, Wes also loves cycling, football, fishing, the outdoors, and fast cars. He is a devoted husband and father.
